July 3-7

Topics such as: posture, tone, warm-ups, efficient practice, orchestral excerpts

Week 2: Traditional Chamber Music

July 10-14

Topics such as: running rehearsal, musicality in small groups, sight reading

Week 3: Contemporary Solos

July 17-21

Topics such as: solos of the last 100 years, extended techniques, interpreting modern notation, crossover rep

​

Week 4: Contemporary Chamber Music

July 24-28

Topics such as: chamber music of the last 100 years, extended techniques, graphic and text-based score

​

Grades 10-12 will meet 10 am - 12 pm

Grades 7-9 will meet 1 pm - 3 pm

Sessions will be held at Erwin First United Methodist Church (920 Euclid Ave., Syracuse, NY)

You can pick and choose weeks or do all four!

One week: $250

Two weeks: $500

Three weeks: $700

Four weeks: $900

 

In order to secure your spot, payment for all chosen weeks is due June 26th.
